This is a bushcraft style sheath that can be worn either horizontally (known as "scout" carry) or vertically using a "dangler". The modular design allows the sheath the be configured either way. The removable pouch is designed to snugly fit a standard Altoids tin which can be used to store survival or fishing items. The fire steel loop can accommodate either 3/8" or 5/16" fire steel. The shock cord attached to the retention strap pulls the strap away from the blade when the snap is released.
